OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
KEVIN PIKE (HILLTOP H.S.) Kevin led the way with 7 receptions and a Touchdown including the first two passes of the 2007 season. An excellent route runner with great potential for the next level.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CHRIS SIDDENS (OTAY RANCH HS)Chris had a couple of key pass breakups early in the game and was a force in defending the run. The former OTAY RANCH QB is a two year starter at corner for the JAG'S.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ABEL PEREZ (CASTLE PARK HS). Abel dominated the game both kicking and punting. With his ability to kick off into the endzone (6 yards deep) from the 30 yard line, time and time again he forced RCC to drive the ball the length of the field.
