OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
SHELDON GALLOWAY (CLAIREMONT HS). Sheldon, one of the leading receivers in the Foothill Conference continued to shine and do a great job blocking and catching the ball.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ROBERT WILLIAMS (OTAY RANCH H.S.) ROBERT led all JAGUARS with 14 total tackles, a Forced Fumble and a Sack. He was a key to the defense that led the way in our opening Foothill conference game. The defense set the tone with outstanding play against the run and pass.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ABEL PEREZ (CASTLE PARK HS) ABEL dominated the game with his kickoffs... twice he kicked it out of the endzone... over 80 YARDS. He kept Grossmont on their own side of the field the majoity of the game.
