COACH CARBERRY

The JAGUAR coaching staff traveled to UCLA for spring 2007 football practice today. Unfortunately, a rarely seen tradition of UCLA is "GOING OVER THE WALL". After stretching, the seniors brought the team together and told them that it was all for one and one for all. They broke off and ran for the nearest wall. The big guys went out the open gate while the athletic guys continued the tradition started by NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman of "going over the wall".

The staff met with former Northwestern Running Back coach John Wristen (responsible for recruiting MONTE VISTA MONARCH IAN MILLER to Northwestern). He is now coaching TE's and Special Teams for the Bruins. With practice off, we took former MONTE VISTA MONARCH JOSH EDWARDS, a Red Shirt Junior Will LB Josh was a team captain for the MONARCHS 2003 CIF Championship team.

This makes three colleges the JAGUAR staff has visited this spring. Three spring practices for San Diego State University including the Spring Clinic. We went to two spring practices at USC and then today's misadventure to UCLA.

Don't forget the spring clinic we are hosting May 9th for all area coaches, and the start of our SUMMER FOOTBALL PROGRAM JUNE 18.

GO JAGS!
