PLAYERS OF THE WEEK CHAFFEY GAME

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
JOSE BAEZ (EASTLAKE HS) Jose, a freshman center led the way with a resergant offensive line this past week as the JAG'S rushed for over 200 yards for the first time this season. The teams strongest player, JOSE is a student of the game with excellent leadership qualities. 6'2 285 lbs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
TORY ROBINSON (MT. MIGUEL HS) A returning starter, the 6'5 280 lbs defensive end was all over the field for the JAG'S. He recorded 8 total tackles including a tackle for loss AND...INTERCEPTED A PASS he batted from his left end position. Tory was a qualifier out of high school and walked on at the University of Alabama.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MARCUS FLORES (GROSSMONT HS) Bouncing back from a difficult week against Grossmont, MARCUS stepped up and made two crucial field goals and punted for great field position. On punt rolled out on the 3 yard line.

BIG STICK:
TYLER ZANOLLI (ALISO NIGUEL HS) Starting free safety who bounced back from the University of Utah layed out punishment for the second straight week with the games big hit. TYLER also added to his conference leading 3 interceptions. At 6'2 185 lbs. TYLER has room to grow.
